Your Role

YCB is seeking to hire a Household assistant to add to the growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the bedrooms and en-suite facilities of people who use Meadowside care home, and the communal areas of the service including assisted bathrooms, toilets, lounges, dining rooms, reception and staff areas are cleaned and tidied to an excellent standard and in accordance with the cleaning schedules. Meadowside Care home is a 68 bed care home in North Finchley providing support to individuals over 65 including those living with Dementia. As a domestic assistant you will be responsible for ensuring a clean safe environment is provided for our residents, visitors and staff and be an important part of the team that ensures residents in our care feel va

About You

You will have a caring nature and a positive attitude, showing a desire to deliver the best possible standard of domestic and laundry service to the residents in our care. You will ideally have previous domestic experience and be committed to ensuring the highest levels of cleanliness, hygiene and appearance. You will be able to demonstrate compassion and empathy in your approach to older people and be a team player but able to work on your own initiative. You will be dependable and flexible to meet the needs of the residents and the home.
