We are currently seeking Volunteer Counsellors to work with Adult Carers across the London Borough of Barnet. This is a student placement opportunity, to counsel 2-3 clients subject to availability, working between 9:00am and 5:00pm on a Thursday. Counselling with take place in-person at our office in North Finchley.

Unpaid - Volunteer Opportunity. A minimum commitment of at least one year.

You will be a second or third year psychotherapy/counselling student with at least 60 hours of practice work. Ideally you should live in the London Borough of Barnet or the surrounding areas. Owing to the nature of the role the post holder will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check before to taking up the post.

Placement opportunity, with regular supervision from an experienced counselling supervisor - this includes 1.5 hours of supervision each month, and after your first client group supervision of 45 minutes each (maximum of three counsellors per group).
