Special People provide homecare and community support to children and adults with learning and physical disabilities in and around London. Our mission is to create a safe, healthy and positive care environment for our service users and their families

• Supporting and helping with health care needs, including routine checks or administrating medication. • Providing physical support which may include helping with household tasks and personal care. • Encouraging and supporting the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests. • Teaching life skills, such as shopping, using public transport and paying for bills

To enable and support children and young adults to live their lives as independently as they can. You will support people with a diverse range of needs, including learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities, acquired brain injuries and mental health needs. You will work in a variety of settings, including people’s own homes, in health and social care settings such as supported living services and out in the community. • Reliable , • Compassionate and want to help people regardless of their condition. • Have a desire to improve the lives of vulnerable children and adults • Time management • Enjoy working with people • The ability to remain calm under pressure

Various pay scales from £11.05 – 20.00 per hour Depending on experience and needs of the client Flexible working patterns On-going training Pension Scheme Holiday entitlement You will need to hold an enhanced DBS, or be willing to undergo a DBS check. We will ask for 2 references prior to your start date
