About Us

Centre 404 are a prominent and successful charity supporting people with learning disabilities, Autism and family carers across 6 London Boroughs. Centre 404 is working towards a world where people with learning disabilities, autism and their families have the support they need to enjoy the same rights, freedom, responsibilities, choices and quality of life as people within the wider community.

Your Role

We are now looking for motivated and well-organised manager to join us in an exciting new PBS and Autism Lead role within the Independent Living and Specialist Services team. This post will form part of the Specialist Services Clinical Team and work across all of Centre 404’s PBS services. It will be instrumental in raising Centre 404’s profile further in terms of being a quality service provider for Positive Behaviour Support, autism and training. As well as leading on PBS and Autism, the post will have active involvement in tendering and setting up new services which require PBS and autism support and will also be working to support development of specialisms in the following areas: dementia care, end of life care, neurological conditions and brain injury.

About You

This role forms an important part of the management team and we are therefore looking for someone with excellent interpersonal skills and experience of working with people with learning disabilities or Autism and mental health needs. The ideal candidate will also have experience of leading and coaching a team supporting people with learning disabilities or/and Autism who present with behaviour that challenge. Experience of supporting people with high and complex support needs would also be an advantage. In return, we offer a supportive environment in which people are encouraged to develop their skills, as part of a well-established and experienced team of managers.

Your benefits

There is potential for the post holder to develop into the role of assistant clinical psychologist and PBS and Autism Lead if they hold the relevant qualifications. Centre 404 is dedicated to staff development and supervision and we will provide a detailed induction and on-going training and support.
