Now more than ever, Adult Social Care is vitally important to keeping people well at home. We know that many of you are wondering what to do to help, whilst worrying about paying your rent and bills. Adult Social Care providers in North London are actively recruiting for care workers to start as soon as possible. We might be able to match you with a service near your home that can work around your availability . If we can care for more vulnerable adults in our communities, then there will be more NHS beds available for people who are ill with the virus

We are connected to a large number of providers, as we are working with all 5 local councils and are part of a wider NHS and Care organisation- the NCL STP if you fill in our short survey we will phone you to find out more, and do our best to get you a role that fits with your skills and availability

Employers are looking for people to staff nursing and care homes, people to go from house to house to support frail elderly live independently, people to work with younger adults with Learning Disabilities and Autism and keep them active and well whilst day centres have shut and their usual activities are not running. They may also need drivers to support these services. Some homes may need cooks and cleaners and people to do the laundry

you may be worrying because your usual work has dried up. You may want to volunteer but also need cash. You need to be in good health and not living in a household with anybody who has underlying health conditions, because if you do start working with vulnerable adults, you are obviously no longer self isolating and therefore at risk of being exposed to Covid 19. But you don't need previous experience in working in Care, just the right attitudes

AS a care worker you should qualify as a key worker, for childcare, certain shops and parking.
