Camden Town Vision
Camden Town Vision
Camden Town is the borough’s largest town centre, and we think it is the right time to look at Camden Town as a whole. We aim to develop a framework that will guide investment to build on Camden Town’s strengths, that retains its uniqueness and is vibrant, safe, welcoming and sustainable.
What is happening now?
We are at the first stage of developing this vision and have launched a public engagement on the issues and opportunities for Camden Town. This will run until 31 August. It is open to all whether you live, work or visit Camden Town or just have a view on what Camden Town means to you.
There are several ways you can have your say:
- You can find out more, give your feedback and sign up for updates by visiting our Commonplace engagement page.
- Have a look at the exhibition at Camden Town Library at 218, Eversholt Street, NW1 1BD during opening hours.
- Come along to a drop-in session at the library – we will be there on:
- Saturday 26 July 11am – 3pm
- Thursday 21 August 10am – 2pm - Keep your eyes open for street pop-ups in Camden Town on:
- Friday 18 July 11am - 8pm
- Saturday 19 July 11am - 8pm
- Wednesday 6 August 11am - 5pm - You can provide written comments or any questions by email to camdentownvision@camden.gov.uk or call us on 020 7974 7949
What are the next steps?
Once the engagement has concluded, we will review, collate and analyse what you have told us. We will draft a Camden Town Vision over the autumn and then carry out a second stage of consultation on this in winter 2025.
When will the Camden Town Vision be published?
Following the completion of the engagement and consultation, we anticipate publishing the Camden Town Vision in spring 2026.
