Lost rivers project
If you take a walk to Hampstead Heath you'll see two natural catchments which historically fed into the River Fleet. Camden also had two other rivers, the Kilburn and the Tyburn. All of these rivers were incorporated into London’s sewerage system partly because they became extremely polluted.
Together with researchers from University College London, we have mapped the course of these rivers. More information can be found in the below documents.
