We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated person who is committed to delivering high quality services, to assist with the management of a bespoke supported living project for a young man with autism, mild learning disabilities, obsessive compulsive disorder, ADHD and complex behaviours. After 25 years in hospital, he has moved to his own home in Barnet, North London, and has been living there for 9 months.

About Us

Your Role

The role will include assisting the Project Manager in coordinating and providing excellent and consistent person centred care and support for the tenant in all areas of day-to-day living, enabling him to live independently, develop new interests and attend exciting activities.

About You

The right candidate will have strong mental resilience and be able to demonstrate a track record in motivating, managing and developing staff, alongside a clear understanding of leadership responsibilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are key, with an ability to respond cheerfully and keep a calm and low tone of voice in any emergency or adverse situations and support the team to reflect and learn during challenging times. Experience of supporting people with autism, behaviours that challenge and mental health needs is also crucial to this role.

Your benefits

Centre 404 is dedicated to staff development and supervision and we will provide a detailed induction and on-going training and support. We are also committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of adults at risk and we are looking to recruit people who share these values.
