Care and Support Worker
We are looking for dedicated Care and Support Workers to support with improving the lives of older people living in Enfield. This is a hands-on role where you will provide domestic support, personal domiciliary care, and emotional support to people in their homes.
You will be provided with free training to Care Certificate standard. This role is being offered on a zero hour contract covering weekdays, evenings and weekends. Applications will be accepted through the Age UK Enfield website.

Your Role
Provide high-quality, person-centred care and support in line with individual care plans, promoting dignity, independence and wellbeing.
Assist with personal care, medication, meal preparation, household tasks and community access.
Support people living with dementia through meaningful activities and effective communication.
Maintain accurate records, safeguard vulnerable adults, report concerns promptly, and follow CQC standards, legislation and organisational policies.
Work professionally with families, carers and healthcare professionals, using initiative and as part of a team.
Attend training and supervision, travel independently across Enfield, demonstrate reliability, flexibility and excellent customer service, and represent Age UK Enfield's values at all times.
About You
We're looking for a compassionate, reliable and motivated individual to provide high-quality care and support to older adults, including those living with dementia and long-term health conditions. You should have excellent communication skills, work well independently and as part of a team, and provide person-centred care with dignity and respect. The ability to maintain accurate records, respect confidentiality, and promote equality and diversity is essential. You must have the right to work in the UK and be willing to complete training, work towards Health and Social Care qualifications, and undergo a DBS check. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends is essential.
