Weekend Chef De Partie
We have an exciting opportunity for a Weekend Chef de Partie to join our Hospitality Team, supporting the delivery of high-quality catering services across our Homes and Community Centres. This part-time role is 16 hours per week, working Saturdays (8:00am – 4:30pm) and Sundays (7:30am – 5:00pm). This is a great opportunity for an experienced chef looking for weekend work while contributing to a supportive, values-driven organisation.

Your Role
You will support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in delivering high-quality catering services, ensuring residents’ dignity, safety, and preferences are always respected. Your responsibilities will include overseeing food preparation to agreed standards, maintaining food hygiene and Health & Safety compliance, and supporting menu planning that reflects seasonal changes, dietary needs, and cultural requirements. You may take responsibility for a section of the kitchen, contribute to innovative menu development, and help ensure excellent customer care, while supporting effective team working and service delivery.
About You
You are a skilled and experienced chef with a recognised qualification such as City & Guilds 7051/7062 (or equivalent) and a Level 2 Food Hygiene qualification. You have a strong background in high-quality food preparation and a good understanding of dietary requirements, allergens, and cultural food needs. You are organised, reliable, and confident working within a team, with knowledge of Health & Safety, COSHH, and relevant regulations. You take pride in maintaining high standards and delivering excellent customer service.
