Relief Kitchen Assistant (Multi - Site)
We are looking for a Relief Kitchen Assistant to join our Hospitality team within a multi-award-winning organisation. This is a bank/relief role working on a casual basis to provide cover across our Campus, Care Homes, and Community Centres in North West London, including Golders Green, Hendon, and surrounding areas of Barnet. Shifts are typically 7:00am – 3:00pm, with some weekend working as required. This is a flexible opportunity ideal for someone looking to support high-quality catering services on an as-needed basis.

Your Role
You will support the delivery of high-quality hospitality services, helping to create a welcoming and pleasant environment for residents, visitors, and the wider community. Your duties will include basic food preparation such as vegetables, salads, and sandwiches, maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen environment, and preparing dining areas for service. You will also serve hot and cold food and beverages and operate the till when required. As a relief team member, you will provide essential cover during periods of absence, ensuring continuity and high standards of service delivery.
About You
You will ideally have experience working in a busy kitchen or catering environment and be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. You have strong communication skills and are confident interacting with a range of people. A Basic Food Hygiene Certificate is desirable (or willingness to achieve this), along with good literacy and numeracy skills. You are reliable, adaptable, and open to learning, with a willingness to undertake further training and development.
