Community Dementia Coordinator – Multi-Site

We are seeking a Community Dementia Coordinator to join our Community Services team in a rewarding multi-site role. Working 36.25 hours per week (Monday to Friday), you will deliver and develop high-quality dementia support services across London, Hertfordshire, Essex, and Brighton. This is an exciting opportunity to lead engaging, person-centred programmes that support people living with dementia and their families, while promoting inclusion, wellbeing, and community connection.

Your Role

You will coordinate and deliver a range of engaging dementia support programmes, including Memory Cafés, Singing for Memory, and art-based activities, ensuring they are inclusive, stimulating, and aligned with best practice. You will oversee day-to-day service delivery across multiple sites, supporting staff and volunteers while driving the growth of dementia-friendly initiatives. Acting as an ambassador for dementia awareness, you will work with partners and stakeholders to promote understanding and collaboration. You will also contribute to programme development, support families, and ensure services are delivered to a high standard, making a meaningful difference to the wellbeing and social connection of those you support.

About You

You are a compassionate, organised, and proactive individual with experience in community services and a strong understanding of dementia. You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build effective relationships with families, colleagues, volunteers, and external partners. You are confident managing multiple priorities across different locations and are passionate about delivering inclusive, person-centred support. You bring creativity and enthusiasm to programme development and are committed to improving the lives of people living with dementia.
