About Us

Are you passionate about supporting young adults with autism and learning disabilities? Do you want to work in an organisation rated 'Outstanding' by the CQC? We are currently recruiting for full time and/or part time staff to work on established home and community-based programmes across North West London, including Brent, Haringey, and Camden. You must be able to drive an automatic car. You will work as part of a team supporting service users with primary diagnoses of autism and learning disabilities across North West London with a focus on life skills and community participation. We accept experienced graduates, professionals from other disciplines interested in supporting teenagers and young adults in their home and local community, and candidates who have previously worked in ABA or PBS settings. Beam ABA Services support individuals with autism and learning disabilities.c Hours: Combination of Monday-Friday 3PM-9PM / 9AM-6PM; Saturday/Sunday 1PM-9PM

Your Role

mplement person-centered programs using Applied Behaviour Analysis and Positive Behaviour Support best practices. Teach functional skills, develop communication systems, and enhance social skills, promoting choice and empowerment. Monitor and record daily data according to service users' targets. Support individuals during crises, such as challenging behavior. Organize and maintain accessibility of program materials. Assist with self-help skills, including personal care and hygiene (e.g., toileting, feeding, bathing, medication). Model best practices and professionalism. Attend mandatory training, team meetings, and complete e-learning modules. Promote safeguarding and wellbeing to the highest standard. Implement restrictive techniques as per positive handling plans

About You

Required qualifications and skills 1 year of applied experience working with individuals with a diagnosis of learning disability and/or autism Experience of supporting individuals who are non-verbal, with experience of promoting alternative modes of communication. Clean driver's license Preferred qualifications Undergraduate Degree in Psychology, Counselling, Social Work, or related field 1+ year of applied experience working with special needs population Experience of managing challenging behaviour Experience utilising ABA methodology

Your benefits

Benefits Full-time positions are available, paid at an hourly rate of £12.25-£14 depending on qualifications and experience, Immediate salary for full-time staff from £22,295- £25,480 based on 35 hour working week - overtime hours available. You should be able to drive an automatic car and have availability to work across weekdays, evenings, and weekends. Full training provided. 30 days' paid holiday per year pro-rata plus full training. Discretionary contribution toward professional accreditation - opportunities to get RBT training, MSc in ABA, BCaBA and BCBA supervision, NVQ Level 3, Level 5, Level 7 certification. DBS costs covered by BEAM Salary available immediately
