INDEPENDENT LIVING ALTERNATIVES (ILA) has been promoting the right of disabled people to live independently for over 30 years and provides a unique insight into disability rights in London.

Personal Assistants (PAs) provide both of personal care and practical support to disabled people as well as engaging in social activities and assisting in the workplace.

ILA has full-time and part-time vacancies across London – you decide when and where you want to work. ILA placements are on a regular basis with the same person every week.

You don’t need any experience, just an open mind and a willingness to learn plus wanting to actively empower a disabled person to do what they want to do, when they want to do it.

You will receive a minimum of £9.50 per hour plus holiday pay and pension contributions plus ample opportunity for overtime. All your training is provided plus your DBS as well as access to ILA’s employee assistance programme to support you in the workplace.
