Care Coordinator required to join to join their friendly care team in Crouch Hill. This is a 6 month temporary position which could lead to a permanent position within our organisation.

Special People provide homecare and community support to children and adults with learning and physical disabilities in and around London. Our mission is to create a safe, healthy and positive care environment for our service users and their families.

You will have an integral role within the placements team, matching care staff with vulnerable children and adults. Day to day you will be liaising with social workers and families to ensure best possible care is delivered. You will be working on daily briefs, posting job ads and shortlisting from our lovely team of support workers. Excellent communication skills are key as you will be building relationships with local authorities, families and support workers. You will be exchanging sensitive information and so attention to detail and discretion is essential.

• 2 years’ experience in a coordination role/agency environment • People managing experience • Strong IT skills • Confident using database software • Excellent telephone manner • Experience in the healthcare industry ideal but not essential
