Your Role
Assisting residents in personal care and helping to maintain the dignity, privacy, individuality, rights and choice of each of the residents
Communicating with relatives by email or by phone
Awareness of Nightingale Hammerson’s Fire Procedures and understanding the health and safety policy and ensuring that care is taken to protect
the health, safety and welfare of residents, staff and visitors in Nightingale Hammerson.
Participating in online training, mandatory and other training and a willingness to learn new skills
Support residents on outings arranged by the Engagement team
Promoting our ethos of Relationship Centred Care
About You
NVQ Level 2 in Care
Understanding the needs of older people, especially when in residential and nursing care
Excellent communication skills with colleagues, relatives, residents and volunteers
Good IT and literacy skills
