Improvement and Engagement Manager

You will perform a key role in the governance and ongoing development of the engagement groups to ensure their effectiveness as a shared commitment by the Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) and Barnet Council adult social care to work together with stakeholders, in particular with people who use services and family carers.

Your Role

You will be leading on the business improvement and communication and engagement functions for the Adults and Health Directorate. Prioritise and deploy resources across these two areas and ensure integration of service user feedback and insights into the improvement / transformation cycle. You will perform a key role in the governance and ongoing development of the engagement groups to ensure their effectiveness as a shared commitment by the Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) and Barnet Council adult social care to work together with stakeholders, in particular with people who use services and family carers. You will act as a champion for innovation and continuous improvement.

About You

We are looking for someone with the following qualities: - You will have experience and a track record in delivering transformation projects in a social care and health environment or other relevant service - Understanding of service user and staff engagement and effective communications - Proven management skills, able to lead project teams to achieve successful outcomes - Excellent leadership and (project) management skills that you can deploy in a complex environment - Ability to promote high achievement in staff through providing support, empowering staff and providing constructive challenge. - Demonstrable record of high performance and striving for continuous improvement
