About Us
Islington Adult Social Care in collaboration with Care Providers are recruiting Care Workers across the borough to support the most vulnerable during this time of need. Through these additional Care roles, we aim to support individuals within their homes; helping them with washing, dressing, prompting medication, ensuring they have food and drink supplies and other necessary daily tasks. We invite you to register your interest for paid care work by completing our simple application form. We will help you find the most suitable role and provide necessary training to get you started.
Your Role
We are looking for hard working people who have a positive attitude and able to work with individuals within their own homes. The service is designed to get people back on their feet and make sure they have everything they need during this time of crisis.
Tasks may include, shopping, preparing food, helping with household task, medication, and personal care. It is important that you are able to communicate clearly with individuals, colleagues, other professionals, families and the public. You will be working alone however as part of a team, so will need to be able to use your initiative whilst following guidelines & business processes.
About You
You may not have prior experience of working with Adults Social Care or NHS services, and maybe you’re studying or you have other skills to offer and just want to do your bit in this time of need. We will help you find the most suitable role and provide necessary training to get you started. This is an excellent opportunity for people who care and want to be involved in the community.
