Meet the housing engagement team

Our housing engagement team works to make sure every tenant and leaseholder has the opportunity to become active in their housing community. We know that residents living in Camden are in the best place to make decisions about where they live.   

The team works across the borough with each of the 5 officers covering a neighbourhood area. They work closely with residents, services and community partners to promote a culture of engagement in Housing and Property services and ensure resident voices are heard in service development and decision making.  

How the team can help you get involved  

The Engagement Officers can help you to get involved in various ways including: 

• joining a Housing and Property Panel 
• helping to access grants to make improvements to your community   
• encouraging and supporting you to take part in housing engagement activities   
• ensuring lessons learnt from engagement activities and forums are shared with participants and shape our services  
• making reasonable adjustments to activities to encourage diverse involvement  
• supporting the setting up of an engagement group, such as a new Tenant and Resident Association   
• helping with access to grants to support community impact initiatives and events   
• connecting services and housing communities by facilitating Neighbourhood Action Days   
• providing learning and training opportunities for tenants involved in housing and property services
