Get involved: help us to design and improve housing services

There are several resident panels and committees to represent the interests of council tenants and leaseholders. Find out more about what’s discussed and opportunities to get involved.

Panels

Housing and Property Residents Panel: The panel meets 6 times a year to look at different topics affecting residents, including borough-wide housing challenges, major housing projects and housing service quality and performance.

Housing Customer Experience Oversight Panel: The panel meets to discuss complaints and feedback about housing management and repairs. They invite managers and contractors to explain what they’re doing to prevent recurring complaints and make suggestions.

Housing and Fire Safety Advisory Panel: The panel ensures that our landlord service meets safety regulations for our tenant and leasehold properties. They discuss how we’re monitoring the condition of housing stock and our compliance with safety checks.

Committees

District Management Committees (DMCs): DMCs are an independent advisory group of elected representatives from Tenants and Residents Associations (TRAs). They meet to consider and discuss reports from different housing and property teams and hold officers accountable.

Forums

Sheltered Housing Forum: The forum represents the interests of sheltered housing residents. Members suggest ways to improve the sheltered housing service, comment on new plans and influence housing policies.

Take part in surveys

Tenant Satisfaction Measures: The Regulator of Social Housing has introduced Tenant Satisfaction Measures (TSMs). They track how well social landlords are doing to provide quality homes and services.

Leaseholder satisfaction survey: The survey results give visibility of our performance to leaseholders and give us an idea of where we can improve.

Housing and repairs satisfaction surveys: We want to learn about your experience of our housing and repairs services and carry out repairs satisfaction, moving in and case management surveys.
